We understand that each child learns differently and we embrace those differences, offering support systems to best suit the needs of each child.
Learning differences
Learning Resources is a comprehensive program available to students with learning differences. Saint Mark's vision of "nurturing the potential in every student" ensures that your child has the support needed to create a love of learning. We will work hand in hand with you to devise an individualized plan for support. We offer a variety of services on property, including speech therapy, occupational therapy and reading specialists.

Lower School Student Services
The purpose of the Learning Resource Program is to provide academic support and enrichment for our students in addition to regular classroom instruction and differentiation. The program is subject to change based on student and teacher needs and may consist of push in or pull out small groups.
Middle School Student Services
The Middle School Learning Resource program includes a 5th grade ELA push-in class, a small combined 6th and 7th grade ELA class taught by our Learning Resource Specialist, and grade-level executive functioning classes which meet three times per week for approximately 40 minutes each.
Social-Emotional
The social - emotional wellbeing of our students is a large part of our commitment to nurturing the whole child. The Student Services program includes:
Individual sessions with students and parents.
Social-emotional support training for teachers and parents.
Peer group discussions are led and cover empathy, stress management, bullying, anxiety and self-esteem.
Many of our parent seminars also contain a student component which can lead to open discussions between parent and child on key topics that face our children today.
Vendor Specialists
For convenience, additional services are available on campus through direct communication with our vendors providing speech therapy, occupational therapy, reading and math intervention.
